Keith retired as Chief Executive of AXA PPP Healthcare at the end of 2018, having taken up the role on 17 December 2001. He has served on the boards of a number of AXA’s businesses in the UK as well as chairman of the boards of AXA Global Healthcare, Permanent Health Company, Health-on-Line, Denplan and, in Spain, AXA People Protector Services.
Keith remains a non-executive director of AXA Venture Partners. Since his retirement, Keith has joined the boards of Saga Services, Firza, MediShout, Charco Neurotech, Apricity and Bluecrest Health Screening, the latter as chairman. Keith was also recently reappointed independent chairman of ICAS International, on completion of its buyout from AXA. Keith served on the managing council of the International Federation of Health Plans (iFHP) from 2002, spending the final three years (2015 – 2018) as chairman. Keith received honorary life membership of the iFHP in May 2019.
In 2017, Keith received the UK Health Insurance industry outstanding contribution award.
Keith is a mathematics graduate and an actuary.
