Jo is a retired PwC partner with extensive experience of growing professional services businesses and advising clients. At PwC from 2008 and for 17 years she led the UK Pharma and Lifesciences practice, a £100m, 500-person business providing assurance, tax, deals and consulting services to clients.
From 1999 to 2002, she was a senior manager with Booz Allen Hamilton, a strategy consultancy focused on assisting clients with growth strategies in the pharmaceuticals, oil and gas and financial services sector. Previously, from 1994 to 1999 she worked as a project director with SmithKline Beecham (now GSK) with roles at the corporate centre and at a manufacturing facility in France. She is now a trustee for LifeArc, LAM Action, FindaCure and UK Dementia Research Institute (also board member), She is a NED for the RSA Group, a board member for MedCity and a member of the Foresight and Strategic Research themes Group at the University of Birmingham.
Jo is an Engineer and holds an MBA from the Warwick Business School.
